Privacy Policy
Established: March 1, 2026
Last updated: October 20, 2026
Kabe-Tech ("we") has established this Privacy Policy to explain how we handle users' personal information in the services we provide on this website. This is a translation of the Japanese version. If the Japanese version and this English version differ, the Japanese version prevails.
1. Advertising
We use Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings in your Google Account. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
2. Information we collect when you visit
Access logs
This website is hosted on Firebase Hosting, provided by Google LLC. For each request for a page or file, the IP address, browser type (User-Agent), requested URL, date and time, and amount of data transferred are recorded in an access log. We use access logs only to investigate server load and errors. Only the site operator can view them, and they are deleted automatically 30 days after they are recorded.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, an analytics service provided by Google LLC.
- Google Analytics uses cookies to collect traffic data. This data is collected anonymously and does not identify you personally.
- In addition to page views, we record actions in each tool as events (for example, running a photo analysis in PoseMirror or the analysis failing, applying a preset, and clicking a link to the paid plan). We do not send photos or the content of poses (joint angles) to Google Analytics.
- You can refuse this collection by disabling cookies in your browser settings. You can also stop it by installing the Google Analytics browser add-on.
- For how Google handles this data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
3. Images and analysis data
The pose estimation features on this website (PoseMirror and others) run locally in your browser. Images you upload are never sent to or stored on our servers, except as described below under "Photos where pose detection failed".
Poses you make in PoseMirror
When you edit a pose or make a pose from a photo in PoseMirror, we send to this website and store the joint angles, the viewpoint, where the pose came from (a preset, a photo and so on), and the time spent editing and viewing it. Photos themselves are not sent. The stored data does not include information that can identify you, such as your account or IP address. For this reason, data that has already been sent cannot be deleted individually.
We use the stored data to improve pose estimation and the app, and to choose poses to publish in Browse (the pose library). We may publish the poses we choose in Browse without attribution (Section 4 of the Terms of Use).
You can stop sending by turning off "Help improve PoseMirror" in the PoseMirror settings (the gear icon at the top of the screen).
Photos where pose detection failed
Only when pose detection fails in PoseMirror and you press the "Send this photo to help improve" button yourself, we receive that one photo (resized so the longer side is 1024 px, with metadata such as the shooting location removed) to improve detection accuracy. Before it is stored, the photo is checked automatically with Google Cloud Vision (Google LLC), and photos detected as adult or racy content are discarded without being stored. Only the site operator views the photos we receive. We do not share them with third parties or publish them, and we delete them 30 days after we receive them. We never store IP addresses with the photos; to limit how many times a photo can be sent, we only temporarily use a value that is anonymized on a daily basis.
4. Disclaimer
We are not responsible for information or services provided on sites you reach through links or banners on this website. We try to provide information on this website that is as accurate as possible, but we do not guarantee its accuracy or safety. We are not liable for any damage caused by the content of this website.
5. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We comply with the Japanese laws that apply to personal information, and we review and improve this Policy as needed. The latest version of this Privacy Policy is always available on this page.
